What this website collects

This site is a static website. It does not run a backend database and it does not collect information through forms on the site.

• No accounts or registration. You do not create an account.
• No contact forms. Contact happens through your own email client via a mailto: link. Any message you send is handled by your email provider and by me, outside of this website.
• Hosting and edge data. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosts, Cloudflare may process standard request metadata (such as IP address, user agent, request URL, referrer and timestamps) for security, routing, performance and abuse prevention. I do not control that processing; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Local storage. The site stores one preference in your browser: your light/dark theme choice, saved under the key theme in localStorage. This never leaves your browser and contains no personal data.
• No analytics cookies. The site itself does not use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts and does not set cookies.

Cookies

The site does not set cookies of its own. If cookies ever appear, they come from the hosting platform at the edge and are not used for tracking by me.

Embedded and linked third parties

Some pages link to external sites, for example GitHub. Following a link means you leave this site and are governed by that site's privacy policy. I do not receive data from those sites.

How information is used

I use the communication you send me to reply to you. I do not sell, rent or trade your information. I do not use it for marketing lists.

Retention

Email correspondence is kept only long enough to correspond with you and to keep a reasonable record. Since this site does not store visitor data directly, there is nothing for me to delete on request from this website; hosting-provider logs follow that provider's retention schedule.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email neonicy@proton.me. Because I do not operate a visitor database, most requests can only be met for email correspondence.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country), and I do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

I may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top changes when I do.
